May-June: lots of greens, including lettuce, kale, Swiss chard and collards, as well as broccoli, cabbage, carrots, beets, arugula, turnips, radishes, green garlic and more. We're also planning for our first strawberries this year! Fingers crossed!
July-August: tomatoes, (heirlooms, slicers and cherry), summer squash, zucchini, sweet peppers, watermelon, beets, okra, cucumber, basil, green beans, onions, garlic, maybe sweet corn, eggplant, beets, garlic, potatoes, cilantro and more September-October: sweet potatoes, butternut squash, acorn squash, pumpkins, cauliflower, broccoli as well as greens again: lettuce, kale, collards, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, arugula, radishes, turnips, carrots, celery, and our favorite: ginger!
Do you offer home delivery?
Yes! We offer both personal home delivery for $6 per box, or small group delivery (2-5 shares) for $3 per box. If you find that you are missing pick-ups, you can always switch to home or small group delivery mid-season. If you would like to set up a new group delivery location, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements!
Can I get a half share? Or just sign up for part of the season?
We offer three sizes of CSA (small, regular and abundant), and all are available for either weekly or every other week delivery. If you sign up after the season has begun, we can prorate your share based on the number of weeks remaining in the season.
What happens if I need to miss a pick-up?
We offer delivery flexibility, including vacation holds, location changes and double boxes Vacation planned? No problem. You can easily put a “hold” on your box and schedule two boxes on a different week. If you wish to cancel a particular CSA pickup or delivery you may do so three (3) times per calendar year with 48 hours advance notice prior to your regularly scheduled CSA box and a credit will be added to your account. No credits or refunds shall be provided for any additional cancellations. You may also have a friend or relative pickup your CSA if you are unavailable.
We also understand that occasionally unexpected events get in the way of being able to pick up, so if you miss unexpectedly, we're happy to let you pick up your share at the next delivery time or pick up a double share at your next scheduled pickup.
What does the payment plan look like?
You have the option to make full payment when you sign up. If you would like to use the payment plan option, you will be asked to make a 25% down payment upon signing up for the service. An additional 25% will be due on the first week of the CSA, and weekly payments thereafter until the end of the CSA season.
Do you offer scholarships or work trade?
It is important to us that anyone who wants fresh, organic, local food has access to it. In addition to the payment plan and size options, we offer:
Work trade: We offer a few work-trade shares. In the past, we've had people work at the farmers market booth, or trade skilled labor, such as massage, photography, graphic design or marketing services, but we're open to your ideas. (We're currently needing some help thinking through and setting up an online ordering platform).
We have a small Scholarship fund: We've had a few generous CSA members donate money to help families who need assistance be able to participate in the CSA. If you need assistance, let us know.

Yes! In each email that tells you what's in your share, you'll get tips and recipe suggestions.
