Did you know?
asparagus grows straight up from the ground!? We pick it almost every day, or it keeps growing and becomes a bush! (I didn't know this was how asparagus grew until I became a farmer. Isn't it amazing?)
ALSO did you know... To store asparagus, trim the ends and put them into a jar of water. Place a plastic bag overtop and store in the fridge. Should keep for 1-2 weeks! (You can also wrap the ends in a wet paper towel in a bag in the crisper drawer)
